GPU Mining Windows
First, you will need to download cgminer and extract the contents to a folder where you can reach using the command prompt, once you have done this you will need to open the command prompt and reach the directory by using the "cd folder".
You will now need your mining pool details, just as with the CPU mining section above:
- The full path of the directory in which the mining program ("minerd.exe") is stored (eg: "C:\cpu-miner-pooler").
- The 'stratum' URL of your mining pool server (eg: "stratum+tcp://pool.d2.cc").
- The port number of your mining server (eg: "3333”).
- x - Your Fuloos Address.
Now we'll make a batch file again, in order to start cgminer up with the correct parameters. In this case, the command structure is:
Start "path" cgminer -- scrypt -o pool.fuloos.org:3002 -u x
Start "C:\cgminer\" -- scrypt –o stratum+tcp://pool.fuloos.org:3002 --u x
CPU Mining Windows
Start by downloading the release of CPU Miner for Windows for either 32bit or 64bit from Github.
CPUMiner (Source Code)
Once you have downloaded the software, you will need to extract it from the zip/tar.gz format to a folder on your system, then proceed to opening the command prompt to start the mining process, you will need to make sure your prompt is in the current directory by using "cd folderdir", once you have made it there you will need to run this command below and changing the x value to your address.
minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.fuloos.org:3002 -u x
CPU Mining Linux
First, start by opening the terminal within Ubuntu (ALT + T), then proceed by installing the required requirements to install CPUMiner.
sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev libncurses5-dev pkg-config automake yasm
Then continue by retrieving the source files and building the application in to a executable version.
git clone https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer.git
Then start the mining processes by running this final command as well as changing the x value to your wallet address.
./minerd -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.fuloos.org:3002 -u x
